Session Description:

This webinar will describe two approaches to multijurisdictional physician licensure: the Interstate Medical Licensure Compacts (IMLC) in the United States and the Atlantic Registry of Physicians (AR) in Canada. Participants will learn about the origins and uptake of the IMLC and AR. Additionally, the webinar will present the evaluation of the AR with regard to its effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impact. Participants will have an opportunity to pose questions and engage in discussion regarding the future of multijurisdictional approaches to licensure.

Attendance in this webinar counts towards the participation requirement required to be nominated for the CPE Board of Directors.
